Congratulations, Jordan!

Please join us in congratulating Troop 59’s newest Eagle Scout, Jordan Mann!

Jordan joined Troop 59 in 2014 after earning his Arrow of Light in Pack 59 and has held several leadership positions in the Troop – he is currently the Troop Webmaster.

Jordan's favorite experienes in scouting have been participating and staffing NYLT as well as participating in inter-troop events such as Chief of Scouts, Klondike and Code Red.

Jordan's Eagle Scout project helped Redwood High School by restoring the mosaic benches in its Art Garden as well as cleaning up the garden by pruning, weeding and laying down ground cover. Jordan also worked with his benefactor to write and present to the school board to sucessfully attain a grant.

Outside of Scouting, Jordan dances ballet and has performed with Marin Dance Theatre since kindergarden. He is also an avid programmer. This summer he built and programmed his own working cell phone. He enjoys taking apart electronics and recycling them into something new. Jordan hopes to pursue computer programming in his future as well as continue to stay involved as an Eagle Scout.
