Marin Sierra Summer Camp

For over 60 years, Camp Marin Sierra has been offering Scouts and leaders a wonderful camping experience. Whether it be

swimming in warm Chubb Lake, shooting at one of the ranges, learning new Scout skills in Trail to First Class, or traversing the high events in COPE, we are confident your Scout(s) will have an excellent time at summer camp.

Scouts will need to turn in a couple forms in order to attend camp:

  • Most important is their medical forms (Parts A, B and C) which have been signed within one year of camp.  The medical form must be signed by both parents and Part C must be signed by your scout’s doctor.

  • The Marin Sierra Activity Release Form is required for participation in any shooting or climbing activities. Be sure to check ALL the boxes for activities in which your scout can participate. Again, California law requires BOTH parents to sign this form

  • Scouts with food allergies or restrictions should complete the Special Dietary Needs form which can be delivered or faxed to Marin Council.

Scouts should review the list of merit badges offered at camp and form an idea of which merit badge classes they will sign up for. Be sure to note merit badges that require pre-camp work in order to complete the merit badge at camp. Scouts can contact Mr. Farnkopf or Mr. Pritchard if they have any questions about their merit badge choices.

Please read the Marin Sierra Summer Camp Parent and Camper Guidebook which will answer many of your questions about summer camp and includes a pack list.
